We are seeking a dynamic and experienced (Senior) Marketing Manager to join our team at Trip.com. As the (Senior) Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. This role requires a proven track record in leading successful marketing teams, a deep understanding of the travel industry, and a passion for creating innovative marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities:
Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define marketing objectives and develop comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
– Drive the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, content marketing, and traditional media.
Customer Acquisition and Retention:
– Lead efforts to acquire new customers through targeted and data-driven marketing campaigns.
– Implement strategies to enhance customer loyalty, satisfaction, and retention through personalized and engaging marketing programs.
Team Leadership and Development:
– Build and lead a high-performing marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
– Encourage professional development and skill enhancement within the marketing team.
– Provide guidance and support to the team, and ensure each function can perform to their best level so to collaboratively boost Japan market growth.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
– Utilize data analytics and market research to measure campaign effectiveness, identify opportunities, and make data-driven decisions.
– Regularly report on key performance indicators, marketing metrics, and overall campaign success to senior leadership.
– Monitor and report on overall Japan performance with HQ, and identify areas for improvement.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments, and ensure that the company remains at the forefront of offshore technology and innovation.
Budget Management:
– Develop and manage marketing budgets, ensuring effective allocation of resources to maximize ROI.
– Monitor expenses and adjust strategies as needed to achieve marketing objectives within budget constraints.
Qualifications:
– Proven experience (8+ years) in marketing, with a focus on travel industry marketing preferred.
– Strong leadership and team management skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams.
– In-depth knowledge of digital marketing, social media, content creation, and traditional marketing channels.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision- making.
– Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
– Native-level Japanese and business communication level (or above)English is a must.
– Comfortable to travel at a moderate level
