Description & Requirements
1. Incorporating both Inbound and Outbound business operation in JP:
l Develop and implement long-term strategic plans for Japan car rental business both inbound and outbound, including revenue management, cost control, marketing, budgeting, KPIs defining and tracking.
l Responsible for business profit and loss both Inbound and Outbound business of JP.
l Use data analytics to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, aiding in strategic decision-making.
l Quickly and effectively identify the correct platform product for Japan as a destination and a source market to maximize the revenue and market share.
2. Market Analysis and Forecasting
l Conduct research on car rental market trends in Japan, both as a source market and a destination.
l Collaborate with the marketing team from HQ and local offices to develop tailored marketing strategies based on the unique demands and preferences of inbound and outbound JP markets.
l Establish and maintain close relationships with local offices to gain marketing and branding resources and support for the car rental business.
l Provide market insights to HQ to optimize product design and sales strategies for successful global product localization.
3. Supplier and Partner Management
l Influencer to industry leaders.
l Establish local supply chain development strategy and partnership strategy for JP.
l Build and maintain long-term partnerships with key suppliers and partners.
4. Internal and External Collaboration
Collaborate with partners, cross-functional and cross-regional teams to ensure effective operation of local car rental business.
5. Team Management
l Manage organization and talent development.
l Optimize organization structure and ensure efficient staffing to develop a high-performing team.
2. Keen business acumen and strong strategic planning abilities, capable of leveraging resources and interpersonal skills to manage long-term partnerships with stakeholders.
3. Able to work and lead a team independently, having complete and strong ownership of your designated region.
4. Ability to identify, coach and manage talents, lead and motivate the team to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
5. Fluent in Japanese, Business proficiency in English. Willing to travel (up to 40%), Japanese driver's license preferred.
