In this role, you’ll get to:

Develop and Manage Partnership Strategy: Take ownership of the partnership strategy to cultivate strong relationships with regional players in the insurance industry, supporting the team’s product pipeline and initiatives.
Collaborate for Innovation: Work closely with our partners and internal teams, embracing creativity and pushing boundaries when necessary, to deliver valuable and highly relevant insurance solutions for Trip.com’s customers. This may involve innovating new products and co-creating offerings with insurers based on user research.
Market Analysis and Competitive Insight: Acquire a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape to identify and monitor market trends and sales potential, driving effective commercial negotiations.
Insurance Marketing Strategy: Lead the insurance marketing strategy by maintaining close relationships with Trip.com's local and central marketing teams to maximise sales potential and ensure the long-term success of merchant partnerships. Secure promotional deals and sponsorships with partners to bolster marketing efforts.
Campaign Management and Representation: Develop forecasts, evaluate budgets, and track the results of campaigns. Act as the key external representative for the team, managing conversations during implementation and overseeing product experimentation and optimisation initiatives post-launch.

What you'll need to succeed:

Minimum of 5 years of work experience, with at least 2 years in a partnership role. Experience in the travel or insurance industry is advantageous.
Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively engaging with external and internal stakeholders at all levels, including senior management, to build trust and secure commitment.
Embraces challenges and uncertainty; you will be part of a team that aims to trailblaze and push boundaries in the highly regulated insurance industry.
A champion of the team's key values: collaborative and open to feedback, experimental and ready to learn from failure, customer-focused, and always prioritising what is best for the customer.
Strong commercial acumen and comfort with data analysis, with proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively with diverse teams, including those at headquarters in China.
