Introduction:

We are hiring a hands-on Accountant/ Executive Assistant, with a finance focus (around 70%) and admin/executive support (around 30%). The position supports the Trip.com Group Affiliated Companies’ day-to-day accounting operations, financial reporting, tax compliance, offshore entity administration, communications, property operations and transactions, process improvement, and general admin tasks.

In this role, you’ll get to:

1. Finance and Taxation:

• Prepare consolidated and standalone financial statements

• Manage routine tax filings and international tax compliance; drive related process improvements.

2. Offshore Entities and Compliance:

• Maintain full-cycle accounting records, corporate documents, and statutory filings for HK entities and offshore entities (e.g., BVI) .

• Ensure accurate and timely filings and compliance across entities.

3. Communications, Meetings, and Stakeholder Coordination

• Serve as the central communications hub for internal teams and external partners, ensuring clear and timely information flow.

• Prepare agendas, attend board and management meetings, and produce minutes capturing decisions and action items.

• Liaise with registered agents, investment banks, law firms, accounting/CPA firms, and tax authorities by organizing meeting materials and documenting key discussion points.

4. Property Operations and Transactions

• Coordinate with property managers, tenants, and maintenance vendors to facilitate smooth rental operations and upkeep.

• Handle lease-related paperwork and assist with bookkeeping entries for real estate transactions; liaise with external CPA firms and tax authorities as required.

5. Process and Control Optimization:

• Help review and improve finance processes and internal controls; document SOPs and support implementation to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

6. Executive and Administrative Support:

• Provide admin support to Senior Executives.

• Handle ad-hoc duties and special projects as assigned.

What you'll Need to Succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting or Finance, HKICPA or an equivalent professional qualification is a plus.

• Approximately 5 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in multinational companies; exposure to financial institutions, private equity, hedge funds, or family offices is a plus.

• Experience supporting consolidated financial statements and routine tax compliance; exposure to international tax is a plus.

• Experience maintaining a full set of accounts and compliance for offshore entities (e.g., BVI).

• Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Chinese Accounting Standards (CAS).

• Strong Excel and data analysis skills; experience with major accounting/ERP systems.

• Excellent written and verbal English and Chinese (including Putonghua).

• High integrity, strong sense of responsibility, and strict confidentiality; able to handle highly sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

• Good communication, coordination, and project and time management skills; able to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
